Great place to get away. The camping spots are all very well done. The grounds are beautiful. There's always so much stuff to do, boating, fishing, etc. They allow pets and aren't sticklers about someone having a beer like they are in state parks.
The park ranger kept coming over and saying to put the fire out and to go to bed. I get having to quiet down after 10:00pm, but trying to tell a group of adults to go to bed is literally ridiculous. We paid, go away.
Lake is clean. Camp sites are nice. Our favorite lake.
The campsites are very well maintained compared to the other campgrounds around the lake. Rangers are friendly and there are some of the best mountain biking trails around PA. Sites are priced very well and they don't try and take advantage of you. In the summer the sites fill up and are usually booked up every weekend. Bathhouses are nice too and are cleaned every night. We have been going here for years and you will not be disappointed.
Poor customer service experience with reservation company. Very sarcastic and lack customer service qualities. Not friendly at all and their attitude is take it or leave it. Advised campground is under construction so camper beware!
